Sofía Cervero Pineda is a third year student of Chemistry at the UPV/EHU in the Faculty of Chemistry in San Sebastian. She has joined CIC energiGUNE to carry out her undergraduate internship. Her research focuses on exploring the coating for inorganic phase change material (PCM). The aim of the project is to develop a protective coating for solid-solid inorganic PCM materials that prevents their degradation against molten salts, which are used as heat transfer fluids in solar power plants.
