Anna Bitner-Michalska from Warsaw University of Technology was involved on research team work Chemical Sensors Research Group - CSRG headed by Prof. Zbigniew Brzozka. Her master thesis topic was: "Electrical double layer adsorption effects of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide".

In 2010 she smoothly changed his major from analytics to electrochemistry by participating in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC) program. During that time she collaborated with Uppsala University working with Kristina Edstorm and Warsaw University of Technology Wladyslaw Wieczorek on silicon andodes and new types electrolytes. She graduated at 2012 at Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France), Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France), Aix-Marseille Université (Marseille, France), Warsaw University of Technology (Warsaw, Poland), Universidad de Córdoba (Córdoba, Spain) with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

Science October 2012 she started her PhD project at Warsaw University of Technology under supervision of  Marek Marcinek. Presently Anna is working on new sodium batteries including: salt characterization and optimization of electrolytes in classical and non-conventional solvent compositions (including solid polymer electrolytes), anode and cathode preparation, and compatibility studies with new types of electrolytes.

Currently, she is an intern at CIC EnergiGUNE and her research is focused on the polymer electrolytes.
